• Secured Escrow Account: All tour payments CHA receives from its travelers are secured in a special Escrow Account at Wachovia National Bank, one of the most prestigious banks in the U.S. Funds from this account are held in escrow, only to be used by CHA to pay for tour services rendered to our travelers and to issue any necessary participant refunds.

• Extensive Liability Coverage: Teachers and tour participants are covered by the finest liability insurance available in the field of educational travel, up to ten million dollars of comprehensive coverage.

• Travel Protection Plan: Each CHA traveler receives the benefits of our included Standard Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance as part of CHA’s non-refundable Registration Fee. Optional insurance is also available which includes additional Trip Cancellation/Interruption Insurance as well as Medical and Baggage insurance and other emergency assistance services. If purchased by the time of final payment, this optional insurance plan also provides Terrorist Act and Financial Insolvency Coverage. • ARC Bond: CHA maintains the largest amount of Bond Coverage as required by the Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC) in Washington for the issuance of airline tickets. CHA is authorized to issue tickets on all U.S. and international airlines.
