Getting Ready to Travel

What’s happens after you enroll on a CHA tour? Here are what you’ll need to know before you go:

After You Enroll

Approximately two weeks after we receive your enrollment, CHA will mail you a detailed tour account statement (listing your tour cost and payment deadlines) along with an introductory travel newsletter with important information about obtaining your passport and our optional Travel Protection Plan.

Using CHA’s Tour Account Center

Your group leader may also provide travelers access to CHA’s Online Tour Account Center. Using your group number and your unique Tour Account Code, you’ll be able to log-on to your Tour Account Center to check your balance, make tour payments, look up important details about your tour including flight and hotel information, and more. For instructions on how to log into your Tour Account on our website, please contact your group leader or call CHA at 1-800-323-4466.

Before You Travel

Approximately one month before your trip, your group leader will give you a copy of CHA’s Pre-Departure Guide which contains a variety of useful travel information to prepare you for your trip with advice on packing, foreign currencies, shopping, weather, suggested reading and much more! Along with your travel guide, you will also receive a CHA backpack and luggage tag for use while you travel. Your electronic airline ticket and list of assigned hotels will be given to you by your group leader a few days before you leave.

Remember, all the details of coordinating your tour with CHA’s staff will be accomplished through your group leader. To keep up-to-date on your tour, be sure to stay in regular contact with your group leader in the months before you travel and attend any scheduled meetings held for your group.
