Interested in the history of the Cold War? Intrigued by spies and espionage? Fascinated with military aircraft and underground bunkers? Consider joining author, lecturer and historian Gary Powers Jr. on an adventure filled educational tour of Europe's most fascinating Cold War and espionage related sites.

As the son of Francis Gary Powers, the American spy pilot shot down and captured by the Soviets in 1960 during the U-2 incident and exchanged on Glienicke Bridge (the "Bridge of Spies") in 1962, Gary has lectured internationally for over 30 years on the need to honor Cold War veterans, preserve Cold War history, and educate future generations about this time period. Gary is the Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Cold War Museum in Virginia, an honorary board member of the International Spy Museum, and a past Board Member of the SAC and Aerospace Museum. Gary has organized Spy Tours in Washington, DC for over 20 years. To learn more about Gary, visit www.garypowers.com.

In 2022, Gary began a partnership with CHA Educational Tours to create unique, international travel programs to support his goals of educating people on the events and impact of the Cold War. After the success of his inaugural trip, Gary now leads annual Cold War and espionage themed tours to a variety of destinations across Europe including Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, England and Holland.

Gary Powers' 2025 Cold War Espionage Tour is scheduled to take place from April 22 to May 3, 2025 and is currently open for bookings! For complete tour details and to enroll online, visit www.cha-tours.com/garypowers/2025.
